Sometimes I can't access eJournals or eBooks, even though I know the Library subscribes to these resources. Why?
Answer
We recommend downloading the LibKey Nomad browser extension (available for desktop and laptop browsers), then linking it to MSK Library holdings, as it will give you easier access to our subscriptions while using databases and websites.
Alternatively:
- Go to the Library’s Remote Access portal.
- This will take you to MSK's Secure Login where you can authenticate by entering your MSK network username and password and confirming with PingID (not always required). You will receive confirmation with the Remote Access Enabled! page. Your authentication should last 8 hours in your browser, enabling you to access the MSK Library's subscription content.
- If you would like to bookmark the portal link for convenience, the URL is: https://library.mskcc.org/remote-access
If the material you are trying to access is not included in MSK's subscriptions you will need to submit a Document Delivery Services request via ILLiad.
Questions about electronic access to Library materials may be directed to resources@mskcc.org.
