Sometimes I can't access journals or e-books, even though I know MSK Library subscribes to these resources, why?

Answer

We recommend downloading the LibKey Nomad browser plugin and linking it to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. 

Alternatively:

  • Go to the Library’s Remote Access Portal (linked on the top of the Library home page).
  • This will take you to MSK's Secure Login where you can authenticate by entering your MSK network username and password and confirming Ping ID (not always required). Your authentication should last 24 hours in the browser, enabling you to access MSK Library's subscription content.
  • Note that if you have already authenticated, you will be redirected back to the Library homepage when you click on the Remote Access link. If you would like to bookmark this link for convenience, the url is: https://library.mskcc.org/remote-access

If the material you are trying to access is not included in MSK's subscriptions you will need to submit a Document Delivery Services request via ILLiad.
